YC Yoga on the Go’s mission is that every being deserves the holistic benefits of yoga as a practical tool of empowerment, health, and physical fitness.

Yoga is a time-tested practice that cultivates boundless levels of energetic and physical fitness. Yoga for Life has designed a yoga program for the corporate employee. Corporate employees deserve the opportunity to reduce stress and tension AND become more physically, mentally and spiritual fit. It’s a busy world we live in today, with increasing demands on employers and employees alike. We work long hours, often hunched over a computer. We skip meals, keep a phone glued to our ear, and rarely leave our workspace for a break. Before long, these work habits begin to take their toll on our bodies and minds in the form of stress, tension and sickness. And while a mild amount of stress can help us meet deadlines, too much stress, or constant stress, can interfere with numerous physical and mental abilities. How we respond to stress can have a significant impact on our total health. Yoga can remove stress from the body and mind.

Description of Yoga Curriculum

A logical set of session themes/topics will be identified along with warm-ups, kriyas, and meditations to support each of the planned topics.  Topics will be selected based on The individual business and the goals of its consumers/clients.

Yoga works most effectively when performed regularly by the student.  With that in mind, a minimum of three sessions per week is recommended. A description of the structure and flow of each session follows.

>>>Short Talk (Introduce the session theme)

Warm up exercises and poses will be performed to avoid injury and prepare the student for the selected session Kriya

>>>Kriya

Kriya’s are ancient and scientifically designed sets or clusters of yoga poses which when performed as written, can address specific issues.  These issues range from digestion and tension release all the way to kriya’s that improve outlook or help one to gain focus.

>>>Meditation

Meditation, or focusing of the mind, serves yoga students by allowing them to practice self-control and determination. So much time in an individual’s life is spent struggling to juggle incoming calls, ideas, media, and general “background noise.” Learning to block these distractions for a short period of time can be powerful; however transferring this ability to a multitude of life scenarios is most practical and beneficial.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga uses exercise, sound current, breath, and meditation. It relaxes and heals the mind and body, allowing energy to flow more freely. This, in turn, brings about a greater feeling of well being and happiness—our natural birthright as humans. This powerful and effective form of Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Ph. D., Master of Kundalini Yoga, is a historically proven method for recharging the body and mind.
